As the electric vehicle market expands, there is a trend towards strengthening electric vehicle battery safety verification to alleviate safety concerns.

Battery thermal runaway is identified as a major cause of electric vehicle fires. This phenomenon is a chain reaction occurring within the battery, making it nearly impossible to stop the spread of flames once a fire starts.

WiLCO's Thermo-Guardian Sheet, a thermal runaway delay material for electric vehicle battery packs, protects drivers by delaying fire for more than 20 minutes after ignition, allowing time for evacuation.

When installed in electric vehicle batteries and subjected to thermal runaway evaluation, it demonstrated superior performance compared to competitors.

It also showed uniquely excellent results in our proprietary alternative evaluation for thermal runaway.

One method to prevent thermal runaway in advance is by enhancing the heat dissipation performance of the cells.

WiLCO's C2C (Cell-to-Cell) Pad improves heat dissipation through high thermal conductivity in the lateral direction of the cells, while also enhancing insulation and thermal insulation between cells based on low thermal conductivity, providing a safe cell usage environment.
